Ethos/Drive

Quality & Integrity - A message from the founders.

As we finished tipping the third van load of the day into the landfill, we knew that there had to be a better way to do this. We looked around the refuse center and we saw perfectly good sofas, beautiful wardrobes and household essentials, all being prepped for burial into a planet that just can't take any more. We were just workers then, but we knew it was wrong, so we decided to do it for ourselves.

We stand on the precipice of a global waste crisis, and it occurred to us that it's incredibly hard for 'normal' people to understand how to dispose of their rubbish and refuse in a carbon neutral, environmentally friendly way.

That's where we come in.

We aim to exhaust every effort before taking refuse to the tip, and as a result, we've seen some jobs/projects reduce their landfill intake by up to 75%. We sort, separate and recycle at established centers, to ensure that the least amount of refuse ends up in the ground.

Alongside that, we have managed to set up a national network of charity shops and redistribution centers, up and down the U.K., ensuring that families and people in need receive great quality furniture, white-goods and have all their basic needs met, affordably and with dignity.

One of the key services we offer are estate clearances of a loved one. You can do so much GOOD with the possessions inside the home. We handle everything from liaising with solicitors, to communicating with local communities about what items we have and where they'd be used best, from free quotes to billing and we do it ALL compassionately, discreetly and with pride.

No other refuse company in the U.K. at the moment has such an ethical outlook, and it's one we hope you'll share.

Do something good today. Be part of the solution.
